Pancakes


Title:Scones
What you Need:Large bowl,(a food processor if you have one),a wooden spoon,a ladle and a specular or a fish slice.       

Ingredients:
1) 4tbsp plain flour (about 100g)
2) 1 free range egg.
3) ½ pint semi-skimmed milk+water(about 3mls) ¾ milk ¼ water
4) a pinch of salt
5) and butter for pan
Steps
1.sieve the flour and salt into a large bowl and make a well in the mixture
2.break in the egg and stir to make a bread crumby mix
3.in a jug add ⅓ of a pint of milk and top up with water to make ½  a pint 200mls of milk 100mls of water. add the milk and water mix bit by bit beating constantly to avoid lumps
4.pop the frying pan over a medium heat add a large knob of butter ( roughly 5g) and melt
5.pour the excess butter into a small bowl and reserve it for later
6.using a ladle pour a spoon full of pancake batter into the hot pan and swirl to get a full covering cook for about 1 minute both sides its read when its easy to flip over.
7.serve immediately icing sugar chocolate sauce or other toppings

Tread Lightly Caravan


Today I attended the Tread lightly caravan and learnt
how to save the earth from global warming and to save water for the future. our group started at the geckos and vine person game Me,Anamanu, and Nathaniel started off
first and Lisiate was rolling the dice for us and asking us the question.

After that we went to the caravan and went straight to the touch screen computer. We were on an activity
that asks us what we do in our house with our electricity,food ,water, and transportation.
we were having fun in the caravan especially with the
microscope our group was laughing at our own skin
it was pretty interesting.

Netball Session 3


Netball


On our 3rd netball session we learnt how to fake step,chest pass,driving,goal shooting,and swift movements. These techniques
are really interesting and fun at the same time  i felt happy around
everyone that was in my team after we finished everything we were
learning we moved on to a game the game was you had to call three or four numbers they had to try and get the ball to the hoop and get it in then run back put the ball in the right spot where it came
from.

Next time I would try to learn more about netball can’t wait till the next session.

Our 2nd Netball Session


On Tuesday 14th May 2013

On a beautiful day we went outside for
for netball.We learnt some really cool
skills with a netball.We did some of the
things that you do in a netball game.
We also learnt about defending.


Next time I will learn more about netball.

Scoot skills


Room 10 went to see Delia  for our scoot skills.
the scoot skills we learnt were stop and brake
and emergency brake that means stop immediately stop and brake.  He thing she was wearing for protection was a helmet and the things she said you might need when you're going scootering is knee pads, elbow pads,gloves the right ones too, and a helmet.
she was talking about travel wise travel wise
means she trying to get people out of their cars
and start walking,scootering,cycling all sorts of things the fact is that lots of pollution is happening some the pollution is by cars so that's why shes doing travel wise.

My Holiday


During the holidays we went up to Whatuwhiwhi in the far north near Kaitaia. we were up in Whatuwhiwhi
we got there in a Hyundai for the D.I.Y Marae we had to help do up our Marae we stay over in Waiare.

We had the coolest day after the day we got up north we went to ahipara the ninety mile beach,and then we went to cape Reinga,and then went the sand dunes it was cool we got free boogie boards but everyone else
had to hire the people who was running the board payment they knew my dads dad so he said “give those Rupapera’s some boards”.

After they gave us the boards we the we tried sliding down the little steep
hill after we went down the biggest hill out of all of them the Bigfoot.
oh it was SSSSTTtteeeepppp. alright
my dad went down first he went fast
going down that hill then my little cousin Hemi went down before me and hes only 8 years old i went down last it was scary looking from above.
we had a great time up in the far north. :)
